Leather and suede react badly to water, heat and ordinary detergent. They can stiffen, crack or lose colour. They need their own cleaning method and their own products.

Send us a photo first. We will look at the material, the finish and the marks, and tell you honestly what cleaning can and cannot improve.

Do not try to wash leather or suede at home or dry it with a hairdryer. Blot spills with a dry cloth and send us a photo on WhatsApp.

Leather & Suede Cleaning: questions and answers

Can leather jackets be cleaned?

Yes. Leather is cleaned with products made for it, not washed in water. We check the finish first because aniline, nubuck and coated leathers behave differently.

Can you remove stains from suede?

Many marks on suede can be improved, but oil and ink are difficult and may not come out fully. Send a photo and we will tell you what to expect.

How long does leather cleaning take?

Leather and suede dry naturally, away from heat, so they take longer than normal garments. We confirm the return date when you book.
