Why send your bedding to us?

Duvets and comforters are too big for most home washing machines, and a duvet that is not dried all the way through can smell and clump. Bedding needs space to wash and time to dry.

We wash each piece according to its filling, whether down, feather or synthetic, and dry it thoroughly before it is packed.

Before we collect

Tell us the size (single, double, king) and the filling when you book. Check the seams for small tears first, because filling can escape through them during washing.

Not sure what a care label means? See the international care symbols guide (GINETEX).

Duvet & Bedding Cleaning: questions and answers

How often should a duvet be cleaned?

Follow the care label. As a general guide, many people clean duvets and comforters a few times a year, and more often for allergy sufferers or homes with pets. Covers and sheets need washing far more often than the duvet itself.

Can you wash down and feather duvets?

Yes. Down and feather fillings are washed gently and dried thoroughly so the filling does not clump.

Do you clean pillows and blankets?

Yes. Pillows, blankets, bedspreads and mattress protectors can all be included in the same pickup.
